BitStrategy is another HYIP to invest bitcoin which appears to be from the makers of 10Bit and the now scammed CryptoInfinity. It offers two plans offering modest returns, and even offers a debit card for a large fee which you can’t actually order.
So, yeah, don’t even think about applying for the debit card from BitStrategy (or any HYIP for that matter) as they are merely a method to extract more money and personal information from the users. Hopefully that is not news to anyone and we are all aware of that little trick. If not, check my basics page for more info.
However, the investment plans are good to go. There are two to choose from: the first will return 110% after 7 days which is a paltry 1.43% profit per day with your principal returned after the 7 days. The second plan pays 6% daily for 25 days principal included which works out to a total return of 150%. This is not much more than the first plan and your actual profit works out to 2% per day. This will see you get to 100% in approximately 16 days.
The site is bitcoin only and the minimum deposit is 0.01 BTC for both plans. Profits are paid only once for the first plan at the end of the 7 days, and every day for the second plan. The minimum withdrawal is 0.0005 which only applies to the second plan.
The website is ok to look at and all the information is available before signing up which is nice and gives you a little bit of confidence. The site has a few hallmarks of the defunct BitWealth which was a stellar performer recently, but is no guarantee that BitStrategy will do the same. The members section is easy to navigate, although a little clumsy, while withdrawals are instant to your bitcoin wallet once you hit withdrawal.
To get started, just sign up, log in, and deposit some bitcoin. Make sure you select the plan you want before you hit “Deposit”. There is no compounding on the plans so to reinvest you will need to wait until your balance is higher than the minimum (0.01), or make a new deposit.
I rate BitStrategy as good due to the look and feel of the site as well as the rather modest investment plans available. I am a little dubious about BitStrategy, and am assigning a moderate to high risk, partly because your principal is locked up, and partly due to the fact that it has sprung up so soon after CryptoInfinity scammed. I can’t say for sure if they are related, but there are a number of factors which allude to this. As a result I would only recommend an investment of up to 5% of your total portfolio. Remember the risks!
As always, check my bitcoin HYIP monitor for all HYIPs, and remember to not invest bitcoin you can’t afford to lose.
