17th June: Scam – DO NOT INVEST!
CoinsAge is a new investment company which appears to invest in nothing in particular and has a team of professionals sitting around waiting for opportunities – or at least that’s what I understood from the carefully worded description on the site. But, should you invest bitcoin?
If you enjoy investing in promising HYIPs like I do, then CoinsAge is probably one of the better ones around at the moment. Rumor has it that the admin from Bitera are running it, but I am not able to confirm this. In any case, treat each HYIP independently, and don’t think that just because you did well in one HYIP that you will do well in another HYIP.
Anyway, lets take a look at CoinsAge.
There are six investment plans in total available which depend on how much you invest. Up to $199 will get you 2% daily for 7 days with your principal returned at the end of the period. This works out to 114% return which is modest but it should complete a number of cycles.
The other plans range from 2.5-6% daily, and up to $50,000 investment which is just insanity, so stick to first or second plan. If you have balls of steel then go for a higher plan but don’t say I didn’t warn you!
The site is bitcoin, as well as a couple of the normal money processors. The minimum deposit is $10 (0.22 BTC) for the 2% plan, and $200 (0.44 BTC) for the 2.5% plan. Profits are paid daily into your account balance and the minimum withdrawal is $0.1 or equivalent in bitcoin. Payments are instant.
The website is a simple and professional offering and doesn’t try to hard to pretend to be something that it is not. The members section is functional and easy to navigate, and all the information is available. Just remember to select the payment currency when depositing. All profits and withdrawals are also in the same currency.
To get started, just sign up, log in, and deposit some bitcoin or by another method if that does it for you. The plan will be automatically selected for you when you specify the deposit size. There is no compounding available, so you will have to reinvest if you want to do this.
I rate CoinsAge as excellent due to the look and feel of the site, available plan length, and past reputation. However, as mentioned before this is always a case-by-case basis. It’s reputation is growing quite quickly and there is little advertising which indicates a positive feeling in the HYIP community in general. Up to 10% of your portfolio is a reasonable investment size and possibly some reinvesting in the first few cycles should be OK. Remember the risks, and don’t get greedy!
As always, check my bitcoin HYIP monitor for all HYIPs, and remember to not invest bitcoin you can’t afford to lose.
